It seems like a lot of us artists are on the hunt to find our one true ‘art style’ — an illusive but wonderful thing that we think will solve a lot of problems, and make it easier for us in our studio and in the art market. What is an art style, and how does it really apply to creating and selling our art?

Bec’s realized the way she thinks about having a recognisable art style has changed drastically over the last year, and that the search for her own art style was probably doing more harm than good. In fact, she thinks she’s found something better.
