Marketing, advertising, branding… these words can send a chill down the spine of many an artist. The idea of self-promotion, or more specifically having to adopt a certain ‘public image’ to sell art, feels fake and completely at odds with what you want to bring to the world with your original and expressive work.

Michele and Bec have a very different perspective and approach when it comes to branding for artists, and discuss how it can become an enriching part of your process—energising your work and connecting you more deeply with your ideal collectors. In fact, not engaging with your branding is a missed opportunity considering the amazing creative superpower that artists have.
