Bec and Michele chat about using the 80/20 rule to hone in on the right art offering and audience that works for what we want to do as artists. Although we might resist the idea of moving from ‘mainstream’ to more unique art, because we fear limiting our appeal, there are multiple ways this approach actually benefits artists—particularly those of us wanting to spend more time developing work and sell at a premium level.
