'Comparison is the thief of joy'—we know comparing ourselves (especially with carefully curated Instagram timelines) is no way to be a happy or productive artist. But why do we compare ourselves? And how does comparison directly limit our creative potential (in ways we perhaps haven't even realised)? Bec and Michele uncover some fresh perspectives on why we look outside of ourselves in this way, what impact this can have on our art, and how we can end up sticking ourselves in creative boxes that just don't fit.
