Michele attended a fine art school, while Bec's art education has been self-directed. Whatever way we begin, all practising artists must guide their own continued development, choose learning opportunities (amongst everything that's now available, especially online) and nurture a growth mindset. If you're not seeing the results you want, Michele and Bec suggest: avoid the technique hunt, start with a feeling, and prioritise new ways of seeing. Also, Michele genuinely blows Bec's mind with a simple statement.
